At least one tank was lost on Green Beach. Could this be "Chicago"?
From the ground looking to the right of the vehicle in question are two M3 Stuart
tanks from B Co., 2nd Tank Battalion.
In this higher resolution picture the features of an LVT-1 are clearly visible.
This is definately NOT the tank Chicago.
Below is the full picture of Green Beach showing the various vehicles.
What happened to the 1st Tank Battalion?
