"B [company], [2nd] Medical [Battalion,] land on Bairiki, establish a field hospital as soon as possible. Medical officers and corpsmen A and C [companies], Medical, land on Beach Red 2 as soon as possible. Bring morphine, plasma, dressing and stretchers."
Part of 2nd Medical Battalion is shown here that was working in a hospital they set up on Bairiki.
This group is probably B Company. Charles Konstantino is in the first standing row, fourth from the left,
wearing a pith helmet with a 2nd class petty officer insignia. Some of the officers have medical
thermometers in their shirt pockets.
