Frank participated in operations against the enemy on Guadalcanal from 4 January to 19 February 1943 and on Tarawa from 20 November to 7 December 1943. The following is his official Marine Corps service record obtained from the National Archives.
Frank is the Marine on the right pulling the cart in Iceland.
E/2/10 on New Zealnd sometime before November 1943. Above is left half and the bottom is the right half.
